Our Story
Founded in 2022, QiYu Healing was established with the goal of providing exceptional senior citizen services to the local community by our founder Dr. Hope (Qiying) Jiang. Dr. Jiang's life journey has been an intricate tapestry, woven with the threads of inherited wisdom, professional dedication, and innovative ventures – all imbued with her heartfelt desire to enrich the human experience.
A Point in an Ancient Chain
Hope was fortunate to learn the ancient art of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as a vital link in an unbroken inheritance chain, studying under revered masters like Dr. Shongzhao Tsao, the 20th generation TCM practitioner from Wuxi, China and her grandfather, Dr. Zijiu Yin from Zhenjiang, China. Under their tutelage, she not only gained academic knowledge but also a deep reverence for TCM's holistic principles woven into daily life. This formative experience laid the foundation for her life's work.
In 1994, a serendipitous connection through Hope's mother and her colleague blossomed into a profound bond with her future husband. Initial awkwardness gave way to understanding and trust as they discovered their shared values and aspirations. Their marriage in 1995 marked the beginning of a remarkable partnership, fueled by their unwavering dedication to careers and dreams.
The Blossoming of Family
The arrival of Hope's first son in 1999 ushered in a new, joyous chapter of parenthood, prompting her to recalibrate her career to prioritize family. When her second son joined them in 2002, their happiness and responsibilities multiplied. Navigating the intricate dance of motherhood, career, and managing a busy household with in-laws and helpers, Hope remained steadfast in creating a nurturing environment for her sons' crucial early years. In 2005, she opened her own clinic, beginning a new journey of helping autistic children and their families.
Witnessing Inspirational Stories
Throughout her practice, Hope had the privilege of bearing witness to countless inspirational stories – from a 40-year-old woman overcoming infertility in 1999, to a 50-year-old achieving the same dream in 2004; from a non-verbal autistic child finding their voice in 2005, to a 46-year-old woman naturally conceiving her third child in 2017. Each triumph was a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the profound impact of compassionate care.
A Divine Gift
On Hope's 40th birthday, a friend's comment about her radiant glow hinted at an unexpected joy to come. Despite fears of complications and societal stigma surrounding later-in-life pregnancies, she embarked on this journey with resilience. The arrival of her daughter was a profound blessing, a living embodiment of the wonders she had helped nurture in countless newborns over the years. Her daughter's presence remains an enduring source of joy, a reminder that miracles can defy perceived limitations.
Expanding Horizons
The seismic shifts brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted traditional modes of human connection, compelling Hope to embrace the digital realm and venture into online education. This pivot enabled her to extend her influence far beyond the confines of individual patient interactions, reaching thousands with her teachings. Simultaneously, a heightened awareness of the pervasive challenges of infertility reignited Hope's passion for promoting life in all its forms.
Embracing Life's Spectrum: The ABC Dating Initiative
Recognizing the unique struggles faced by American-born Chinese individuals in navigating their bicultural identities, especially in the realms of marriage and self-discovery, Hope launched the ABC Dating project in April 2022 along with several other MIT parents. This initiative aims to foster connections that celebrate the rich tapestry of diverse lives while honoring traditional and American heritages. It reflects her journey of embracing change, nurturing relationships, and championing the beauty of multiculturalism.
Pioneering Holistic Support: The HeartPrint Project
Building upon the foundations laid by the ABC Dating project, Hope's team has grown exponentially to launch the groundbreaking HeartPrint Project. Leveraging cutting-edge AI technology, they aim to offer a comprehensive spectrum of life support services tailored to individual needs. This revolutionary venture seamlessly integrates experiences from youth to old age, redefining personalized care with unparalleled companionship and inclusivity.
The HeartPrint Project stands as a beacon of Hope's evolving mission, a testament to her unwavering commitment to using technology as a conduit for fostering deeper human connections and understanding across all stages of life.

Our Founder
Dr. Hope (Qiying) Jiang
Hope Q. Jiang is a distinguished third generation acupuncturist and herbalist, holding an esteemed degree from the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She further advanced her expertise by completing a Master of Oriental Medicine from the prestigious Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM.
